We had a wonderful stay at the Shores Cottage. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect beach getaway. The cottage was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and located in a quiet, well-maintained neighborhood.
Everything we needed was provided, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beach chairs, towels, bikes, and games. We enjoyed the pool, beach volleyball, relaxing walks, and the short walk to both the beach and bay.
One of our favorite parts was spending time on the porches with a morning coffee, enjoying the sea breeze and peaceful surroundings.
The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, and check-in was simple. Overall, the cottage exceeded our expectations and made for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.
We were sad to leave and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful coastal retreat.

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Cottage at The Shores. Very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Not far from the beach and short walk to the community pool, tennis and pickle ball courts. The free shuttle was nice addition. Definitely will rent this house again.

Our stay was wonderful at the sea glass. My only complaint is that we could not stay longer. The house is beautiful. Great layout, spacious, and super duper clean. the inside looks like it is brand new. The walk to the beach is easy and quick. The outside shower was great. The pool house was very close. WE didn't have time to use other amenities but they were all close and looked to be clean and in good working order. We loved that the beach has private access. We we're in town during Memorial Day weekend, and we try to avoid crowds but this is the only time we could visit SPI. The beach wasn't crowded at all. It was great! Thank you

The Seaglass Cottage is by far the best spot we have stayed in the past 20 years visiting SPI. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and such a lovely place to take walks in the evenings. The pool was beautiful. We will return!

The sea glass cottage was clean, decorated beautifully, well stocked with essentials and pristine landscaping that made you feel like you were somewhere other than south Texas. The walk to the beach was a breeze for my 3 girls. We enjoyed the facilities of pickleball, tennis, the pool and biking around the grounds.

This was our first time to stay at Seaglass and it was excellent. The house is beautiful and clean. It's an easy walk to the beach or the community pool. The house was so well stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation -right down to the immersion blender! There are beach chairs and towels so you do not have to lug your own. My son loved riding the bikes that were provided. We already rebooked Seaglass for next year. This is our 9th year staying at The Shores and we LOVE this development. I would never stay anywhere else on the island.

We highly recommend this beach house for your next family vacation. Our family enjoyed all the amenities in a very peaceful neighborhood. The home has all the comforts you would expect and 2 beautiful porches to gather in the evenings and watch the fireworks or sunset from the bay. We look forward to our next stay!

Seaglass Cottage was a delightful retreat during our stay at The Shores. Our daughter and family stayed there and loved it. Everything about it was excellent. The decor, the well appointed kitchen, the super comfortable beds, the wide open great room, the furnishings. It worked great with the rest of us at Lotus Villa just across the footpath. They loved having the bikes for the kids coming back and forth. What more can I say. It was a great stay.

If you are looking for a serene place to safely enjoy the island, then Seaglass Cottage is the place for you! We enjoyed the proximity to the beach so we could enjoy morning walks, and beautiful sunsets by the dock. The home is beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The home has spacious rooms and a large living room to gather. We definitely enjoyed taking a swim in the refreshing community pool which is never crowded and down the street from the home. Your stay at Seaglass Cottage will not disappoint you, and we can’t wait to go back soon!

Seaglass Cottage and Franke rentals where both great. The house was better them most others I've rented in past years at SPI and other locations. The bikes where a nice extra to travel to grocery and coffee café - no need for a car increased the relaxed feeling. In an attempt to be balanced I might say you cold mix up the pillow assortment (some lg & sm, some soft & stiff) to suit all visitors. Maybe add more cable stations. I'll be back.
